Similarly to regular tiles, terrazzo tiles are composed of two layers:
a wet mix top layer composed of marble powder and chips , and a dry
mix bottom layer as its support. These two concrete mixes are then
pressed together for six seconds at an incredible 600 tons of
hydraulic pressure and then steam cured. The tiles are then grinded
and polished.
